Guardian Angels
Prologue:
53 years ago, in the year 2010, Dr. Ira Stovanich was on the brink of discovering something that could very well earn him the Nobel Prize. However, he needed a guinea pig for his experiment. For this, he chose his own daughter, Tiffany Summers and fourteen others. Combining Tiffany's DNA with that of a wolf, Dr. Ira created a new species that would later be known as "Genoids" or Genetically Created Humanoids, as they were originally known, although, they are now, known as Genetically Engineered Humanoids.
Unfortunately, Dr. Ira's experiment didn't go as planned and Tiffany, in her new body, died shortly after her creation. However, Tiffany's mother, Linda Summers was able to revive her. After some searching, Tiffany obtained a job as a cop and, at first, she was admired and adored.
It would be two years before another Genoid appeared. By then, Dr. Ira had perfected his technique and the 14 others were soon turned into Genoids to make sure. These 14 who were all friends or family of Tiffany, along with Tiffany, herself, quickly called themselves the Fifteen, as they were the first. Dr. Ira also gave each of them a small branded number somewhere on their bodies. The Fifteen eventually removed these after their first deaths, and had them replaced with tattoos and hid them in better places.
The first publicly announced Genoid was a mouse named Gene which was short for Genetically Engineered. She was created in the summer of 2012. Gene became Dr. Ira's pet and the bases for the Guardians that the Fifteen adopted shortly thereafter. Gene was fiercely loyal to Dr. Ira and protected him from almost anything. However, as the number of Genoids increased, their popularity declined. Especially amongst the Genoids themselves, as many of them were created against their will. Many have thought that it was the humans that ultimately killed Dr. Ira, but I can promise you, it was his own creation. Both he and Gene died the same day.
Being a Genoid isn't a blessing, but a curse. Because of what she was, Tiffany was killed five more times with the final time nearly ending her life for good. It was after her second death that we learned that while most Genoids age like humans, the first fifteen of us are essentially immortal. It is extremely hard to kill us. We have been alive since we were changed. Granted, our bodies can be destroyed, but we can very easily be transferred into a prosthetic body without any trouble.
Over the years, what was intended to be a blessing ended up being the ultimate curse. 2012 did, indeed see the end of the world, at least the world as we knew it. It only took about ten years for hatred for our breed to set it. The discrimination grew to heights not seen since before the Civil Rights Movement. In a lot of ways, it was much worse than that. Now, complete cites are divided into human and genoid living areas. Only recently have Genoid even been allowed to buy housing in the human districts and visa versa. Even then, it's extremely hard for a genoid to get a fair price on anything.
How do I know all of this? Because I was the first. I was Tiffany Summers. Not any more, though. Now, my name is Saipia Jones. And I am Commander of a special group of police officers known as the Genoid Urban Equalization and Safety Team, (GUEST) or, as we are better known, Guardian Angels. I am also leader of the 15 and their Guardians known as The Halves.
And, as much as I had to admit it. We Genoids aren't without our own problems. Discrimination towards humans run rampant amongst my kind. And we are capable of the very same crimes the humans are. This is why GUEST was created in the first place: to not only deal with the discriminatory crimes amongst Genoid and humans, but the other stuff as well. We're here, however, because most of the human cops don't want to deal with us. They're afraid of us, and to be honest, we're a little afraid of them. However, since our beginning three years ago, the Angels have become a symbol of hope and peace on both sides of the boarder. That is why we are called Guardian Angels.
Episode 23:
"Family"
It was early in the morning when the doors to Peter Jones' cell slid open. "Jones, you're bail has been posted, you're a free man," announced the guard.
The male black wolf that had been laying silently on his cot slid to an upright position and noticed the young vixen standing next to the guard. Wordlessly, Peter stood to his feet and wondered forward. With a simply glance at both human and canine, he let himself be guided down the long hall to begin the signing out process.
Outside the precinct, a red luxury saloon was waiting for him. As he slide into the passenger's seat in the front, he discovered who had bailed him out. "Hello, Ryan," he casually greeted the black wolf.
"It's nice to see you again, little brother," said Ryan.
The driver wore a white tux, white hat and a par of sunglasses. The fox in the back seat wore a very short skirt and a low-cut shirt. Peter was now wearing a simple white tank top and blue jeans.
"I suppose this car is stolen?" Peter asked with a sigh.
Ryan laughed at that. "Nah. The car I bought. Now, the money I used to get the car was stolen. Oh, and meet your home coming present."
Peter craned his neck back and checked out the fox again and it was then that he realized she wasn't wearing anything under her little outfit. "Very nice. But, I do not think it's very wise to send an abductee into the precinct where Saipia is working. You do know that if caught you here, we'd both be screwed."
The fancy dressed canine dropped his smile as he started the car's engine and pulled away from the precinct. Indeed, though, Saipia had noticed the strange, seductively dressed fox and more importantly, she quickly found out that her former sibling had been released. And she wasn't very happy about it. "Who the hell even set the bail?" she shouted at her chief.
"Commander Jones," Chief Anderton started. "Don't forget I'm your boss."
"I know. But I can't believe they let him go," said the blue canine as she rubbed her forehead with one hand while the other sat on her hip. "That reminds me, now that the world knows I'm a cyborg and the first Genoid, I have no desire to be associated with Peter or Ryan and should, then, probably get my name changed."
"I still don't understand what the big deal is? I mean they were your brothers, weren't they?" the aging human asked.
"Not really by choice. They are Tim and Zovah's sons, and both Tim and Zovah are good friends of mine, but you must understand that Peter and Ryan grew up in a world that despises them. And they lived very close to the Dark Zone. So, the hatred they got from the humans they met was reinforced by the anti-human feelings of those they hung out with," Saipia explained as she leaned back on her desk. "Neither of them should be taken lightly. They're very dangerous. Peter's a high in drug and prostitute dealer. And only about half a percent of the women he sells actually chose to be hookers. He's also the leader of a gang known as the Black Angels. They're the second largest Genoid gang in the city, but Peter runs them like a mafia. They're efficient, ruthless, mean, but they'll greet you with a smile before they pump you full of lead.
"Ryan's the worst of the two, by far. Founder and leader of the Devil Dogs, he is. It's obvious with a name like that, that they didn't get their name out of kindness. Mostly made up of canines, the Devils are known for their brutal murders and for killing without asking any questions.
"To give you an idea of their brutality, their first crimes were all incest related. They've raped both their parents while making the other watch. And the two are also lovers themselves. I only know because Timothy and Zovah have told me about the incidents. From there, it was Peter who first got into drug running. Ryan, being a good older brother, simply protected his brother; killing many who cheated Peter out of money and/or drugs. They've tried to rape Gjia a few times but are too frightened of me to do anything. However, they're attempted rape of Gjia is why she lives with me and not them or Tim and Zovah."
"God," remarked the chief. "I understand why you didn't want Peter to be turned loose."
"Wait, Peter's loose?" Erica asked as she entered the office, a horrified look on her face.
"Yeah. Supposedly, his big brother paid his bail. Which would mean, someone in this office is on Ryan's payroll," Saipia commented.
"Do we have permission to use deadly force on those bastards?" Erica spat.
"Captain, what has..." the chief started but Saipia held up her hand to stop him.
"No, you do not. I know you want them dead, and I sure as hell wouldn't mind seeing them dead, either. But, my old friend, we've got a lot of work to do before we even close to meeting them face to face. Especially with..." Saipia answered and was cut short by Erica slamming her fist into the door frame hard enough to damage her prosthetic hand.
The leopard took a moment to do some deep breathing to calm herself. "Anyway, I came here because I have a gift for you, Commander. It is the reason why I didn't come with you to work this morning."
Saipia smiled at her feline who promptly left the office. The wolf stood and started to follow her friend. She paused at the door and turned to the chief. "Although Erica's a very strong woman with a lot of martial arts and hand to hand combat training, Ryan and Peter caught her off guard one day while she was visiting me. The two tied her up and raped her several times. She was fourteen at the time. It was the deciding factor for her becoming a cop and a damn good one. I'll do what I can, but if she does kill them, don't expect me to mention it in my report."
"Are you saying you'd lie to protect her?" Chief Anderton asked.
"Yes, I am. She's my bodyguard, Henry. And I'm hers. I won't let those bastards hurt her again. Even if it means I have to kill them myself," Saipia was very serious about that, and the look she tossed the chief informed him of that. But, there wasn't much he could do. She was a great cop and no one else could do what she was doing.

Peter entered his large condo tucked in the heart of the Dark Zone with Ryan and the rabbit right behind him. As soon as they were inside, he got undressed and sat on the couch. "You know you should have never come anywhere near that police station, Ryan," said the younger wolf as his older brother soon joined him in his nakedness while the rabbit just stood to the side and shook with fear.
Ryan sighed as he sat down beside his sibling. "Don't start with that crap again. I'm not a little cub, anymore. And besides, I'm supposed to be protecting you."
"We're supposed to be protecting each other, my dear brother. That's what brothers do. They look after one another," Peter said as he grabbed the back of his brother's head and forced it between his legs. "And if you keep messing around with Sai, she's going to start getting in the way."
"Saipia and her little band of heroes will never be a problem. She knows we won't hesitate to..." Ryan said and was silenced by his brother shoving his head back down again.
"DO NOT underestimate Saipia. She's far older than either of us and far smarter than you give her credit for. Plus, she not only has the Angels to protect her, but the Fifteen, as well, and the damn Guardians. Plus, Saipia herself has got a bodyguard, now," Peter scolded.
"What? That leopard whore we raped all those years ago? She's not even a real woman," said Ryan around giving his brother a blowjob.
"Yes," Peter replied and grunted with satisfaction at his brother's work. "But that was back then. Now, she's part machine and has a lot more skill than she did then. Now, I doubt we'd be able to sneak up on her like we did then, and I'm positive she'd not only kick both our asses, but she'd most likely kill us."
Peter let out a loud grunt as he came to a climax and let his brother up. As Ryan licked his lips he stared into his brother's eyes. "I'm not afraid of some shemale bitch."
"And your lack of fear is probably going to be our downfall. You're far to arrogant, brother," with that, Peter gave Ryan a quick kiss on the lips before wandering over to the rabbit and closely examining her.
"Hey, you were always the one with his nose in the books. I'll leave the strategy up to you," Ryan said as he watched as Peter led the rabbit over to an open window.
"And you were a great quarter back and party animal. By the way, I would think that after all these years you would know that I really don't care for Leporidae. In fact, I utterly despise them," Peter replied and shoved the woman out the window, sending her plummeting to her death.
Ryan stood and shrugged. "Oops. Oh well."

Saipia let out a screech as she laid eyes on the gift Erica was giving her. Before her eyes, two brand new police cars sat with the same, grey paint job with the Guardian Angels logos and name on the doors and hood. One car was a newer Challenger like the one she had, but the other was a 1970 Challenger R/T. Both had been completely restored. The canine couldn't believe her eyes. "Erica. I can't believe you did this. I really want to know where you found the 1970 Challenger. And I thought the last 2010 Challenger I had was the last of them."
"It was. This one is your old Challenger. I knew a guy that owned me a few favors and repairing the body of your car was enough to cover all the favors. As for the '70 Challenger, I actually happened upon its rusting hulk last year and thought of you. Figured it'd make a great gift for you," Erica explained with a warm smile.
"You bet it does. What a gift though," Saipia agreed. "You know, Erica, I usually make it a point not to sleep with fellow cops, but, in this case, I might make an exception."
"You had better. Especially if you're going to prevent me from killing Ryan and Peter," Erica insisted.
The blue wolf rolled her eyes as she opened the door to the older Challenger. "Look, Erica. I know you want them dead. I want them dead, too. But, we're cops. We can't just go in there and kill everyone we want. And don't even think about trying to hand in your badge. From this point on, until Ryan and Peter are taken care of and as long as they're out on the streets, I will never accept your resignation, is that understood?"
Erica looked away from her commander and crossed her arms over her chest. Saipia stood to her feet and glanced around the garage. "Eric Wesley Martin, you better understand me, or you'll get no sex at all and I might just decide not to pay you until this whole thing is over with."
"Don't use that name. And you wouldn't dare do that," insisted the mechanic as she put her hands on her hips.
Saipia gave the leopard a serious look. "You know full well what I'm capable of. You've known me far longer than anyone else in that building and you know all my little secrets. So, you should know that when I say that I will make you work your ass off without paying you anything, I mean it."
Erica swallowed visibly out of fear. "You're right, I do know you. Probably a little too well. And you know me just the same. So you should know that I would never do anything you didn't approve of."
The wolf gave another sigh and sat in the driver's seat before shut the door to the classic ninety-three year-old car. "I must know why you're so intent..."
"Saipia. I've known you almost my entire life. I met you while I was getting my first prosthetics. You've been like an aunt to me. More of a mother really, but I don't think my mother would like me saying that. But, when you found out that I was a boy before the fire, you didn't freak out. All you did was ask me calmly why I became a girl...or, a hermaphrodite. And you asked it calmly and gently. You helped me get used to my prosthetics and understood what I was going through. You've been my hero my entire life. And, as such, I'd follow you to the ends of the earth and back. You don't know this, Sai, but one year, I actually went as you for Halloween," Erica explained after joining her friend in the car.
Leaning back in her seat, Saipia smiled at that. "How did that go?"
"Pretty well, actually. Got a lot of candy that year. Not many people knew who I was, but they liked my costume," Erica replied.
"Well, I'm glad I've had such a positive influence on you, Erica. I really am. And it means a lot to me that you think of me as your aunt," said the commander.
"Actually, nowadays, you're much more of a big sister than anything else. But I am very glad that I met you, Saipia. But, I think my mother is happier that you and I met. You've been a wonderful influence on not only me, but my siblings as well. I mean, my parents did grow up in the best of families and their parents disowned them when they became Genoids. We all had it rough, but when you came along, it gave us hope. You, really are a guardian angel, Sai." Erica said with a warm smile.
"Sometimes, I don't feel like it," the wolf replied and tilted the visor down and caught the keys as they fell. "Anyway, you hungry?"
The leopard shrugged. "I could eat something. But isn't it a little early for lunch?"
"This is true, but we'll be getting something after we do a little patrolling. There's a place or two I want to visit to dig up some information on Ryan and Peter. And I need to swing by the courthouse to get my named changed," agreed Saipia.
"Because you don't want to be associated with your former siblings. What are you changing your name to?" asked Erica as Saipia pulled out her phone to call the chief.
"For now, I'm just dropping the last name. I mean, it's not like there are any other people with the name of 'Saipia' are there?" the canine asked as her phone rang.

Saipia and Erica took a seat in a couple of leather chairs. They sat across from a bovine that wore only lingerie. She was a Genoid and animal rights activist and utterly despised humans. This made her an asset to Ryan and Peter, despite the fact that she was good friends with Saipia. "Well, seeing as you're wearing your police uniforms, I doubt you're here for pleasure," said the cow.
"No. But I am curious as to how everyone you know, Saipia, seems to be involved in some sort of sex trade," commented Erica.
The wolf shugged as her bovine friend grinned. "Actually, Ami, here, is a real estate agent. In fact, it is because of her that you and I have a house on the human side of the city. However, when she's in her own home, she likes to lounge around naked. But, since we're here, she decided to put something on," explained Saipia.
Erica glanced back at the bovine who wore a look that said that everything Saipia had said was true. The leopard gave her a once over before scoffing. "I don't mind if she wears clothes or not. It is her house after all."
"Captain, might I remind you that we're still on duty, and we're here to gather information, not inspect Ami's assets," Saipia scolded.
Rolling her eyes, Erica gave the canine a scolding glance, back. "Anyway, Miss Ami, you got any idea what Ryan and Peter are up to?"
"I don't know. I heard, however, that Ryan went a little nuts after Peter was put in jail. Especially when he found out who arrested him. Apparently, he had a wolf dye her fur blue and he then proceeded to rape her before brutally killing her. I believe you're lucky as hell that he didn't just kill you outright, Saipia," Ami replied.
"Not lucky. Those two know damn well attacking me will only end in their deaths. Ryan may not be nearly as scared of me as Peter is, but he's not dumb enough to actually take me on personally. However, I do think they should know that I'm after them. And I always get my man," said Saipia.
"Aren't you afraid they'll leave town?" asked Erica.
"Not really. Those two are hiding out somewhere in the Dark Zone. They'll probably just stay there, thinking I'm not stupid enough to go in after them. But, they don't know how I got my prosthetic body," replied the blue canine.
"Yeah, you still have plenty of secrets, Saipia," the feline commented.
"So, you want me to outright tell them or simply leak the information out?" Ami asked.
Saipia shrugged. "Doesn't really matter, they'll know I leaked the information, anyway. Have fun with it. Just watch yourself. I doubt Ryan or Peter will take the news that well."
"By the way, just out of curiosity, you wouldn't happen to know the exact location of the brothers, would you, Ami?" Erica questioned as she snatched up a chocolate chip cookie from the plate on the table that sat between the chairs Saipia and she were sitting in and the bovine.
Ami shook her head. "I bet, however, I could easily find out."
"That would be very useful information. Thank you, Ami. It's always a pleasure working with you," Saipia said with a smiled as she stood to her feet.

Peter sat behind a desk in an office building in the Dark Zone. This was is actual job. He was the CEO of a software company. Ryan was there simply to keep him company. As the two sat in that office, there was a knock on the door. "Enter," called Peter.
As the door swung open a young female ferret entered. "I'm sorry to bother you, sir, but a message has arrived for you," she said and handed the black wolf an envelope.
Both men watched as the young woman left before turning their attention to the envelope. Peter opened it and read the short letter inside. "Dammit! This is you're fault, Ryan," he spat tossing the note at his older sibling.
Ryan read the letter out of curiosity and chuckled to himself. "Whatever. Everyone knows Saipia's not our sister, so it was only a matter of time before she came after us. Personally, I'm glad. This means we don't have to pretend to like her."
"That's very true. However, I was kinda hoping to sleep with her before we kill her. And I guess there's still time for that. It's not like she's just going to barge in here and try to kill us or anything," Peter said with a sigh.
"Right. So, what's the plan?" Ryan asked.
Peter shrugged. "Well, since we should try to avoid Saipia for a while, I would suggest business as usual."
